For any given hardware asset you can determine:
what software is installed on it
what software is assigned to it
To determine the installed and assigned software of a hardware asset:
Go to the IT Asset Management workspace and expand Hardware Asset Management > Hardware Assets > All Hardware Assets view.
Select a hardware asset in the list and open it.
Click the Software tab. The Software tab contains a list of the software assigned to the asset and the software installed on the asset. The Installed Software includes the Device Name, which is the display name of the computer in Service Manager (not the Windows computer name).
